Sight seeing

We have been busy sight seeing the last couple of days while we await Huahua's passport to be ready on Friday before we can travel to the Guangzhou.  We went to the zoo yesterday which she thoroughly enjoyed despite not feeling the best.  At first she told our guide she was a little afraid of the panda bears but after awhile she told him she was no longer afraid.  Baba keep her safe.  She goes through periods of when she wants one or the other of us to hold her and will only want that parent.  It's all part of the bonding process.

She loves to push the stroller.  Like any two year old, but will be very winded and out of breath and still want to push the stroller rather than ride.  Then she wanted Mama to carry her through the zoo, so mama was out of breath and very winded!

This bear just sat and posed for us.  Have you ever looked a bear right in the eyes.  What an amazing creature!  He would look right at you!

The monkey were her favorite animal at the zoo by the souvenior she picked out.  She preferred to wear it around her neck as a adorning necklace.  Perfectly matched her hair pretty!

On the way home last night we ran into what we would call a flash dance.  Here they have them all over the city as a form of exercise.  We joined in for some exercise or at least a good laugh!

Wiped out after the zoo trip!  We  ventured with our guide to a little mom and pop place for dumplings.
They were the most delicious meal we have had since being here!
The adoptees loved their native food too and we ended up ordering more.  Baba loved too and eat two plates!
Trying out Mama's shoes.  When it's time to go she goes and
gets my shoes for me and picks out her shoes too!
Baba's using chopsticks! Two handed and with assistance of a fork!
Escalators are like rides at an amusement park!
Baba's Girls
Love blizzards at dairy queen.
This is down by the harbor where the two rivers meet in Chongqing.  I continue to struggle
with the lack of human empathy for one another here in China.  Culturally
It seems like people are set on survival mode, to save themselves.  How else would it be with billions
of people?  While at the harbor a man was laying in the street having a siezure and I asked our
guide isn't anyone going to help him.  Not a single person even looked at him.  My heart ached
for these people, for this culture, that doesn't realize what they are missing....love one another as
yourselves.  We love because HE first loved us!
This is their water god to make wishes to.
These three photos are taken at a guild built in 1700 by immigrants.  It would used by them as a place
to gather and hold meetings.  the couple above is having their wedding pictures taken to show at their wedding.
